Dr. Mary Volkers

Dr. Mary Volkers was born in New York State. She did her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, attended The University of Prince Edward Island for Veterinary Medicine (2003), then completed a small animal internship in Rochester, NY. Dr. Volkers loves incorporating fear-free practices for her patients to try and ease the anxiety that often comes with visits to the vet. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and clients to create individualized care. She has specific interests in dentistry, laparoscopic
(minimally invasive) surgery, and preventative care.

In her free time, Dr. Volkers stays very active with Crossfit training, running,paddle boarding and relaxing by the pool/beach. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her family – her wife, Kaila; her rescue dog, Journey; and her kitties – Moo Moo, Myles Bentley, Juniper Fluffycat, Rune, and Jordy.
