KD

KD graduated from Michigan State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Nursing. She recently moved down to Florida with her husband and has a veterinary background in emergency medicine. She has worked in an Avian and Exotic’s practice and treated some interesting animals including snapping turtles, Gila monsters, tegus, and even a wallaby. KD joined Edge in September of 2023 to help make veterinary medicine a more positive and welcoming field as well as get to have a deeper connection with her patients and pet parents. KD has five cats named Ezra, Cleo, Pepperoni, Evelyn, and Salem and two rescued pups named Ella and Daisy. If she isn’t out and about or being a social butterfly, she likes to be curled up on her couch and read or play video games.
